Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 26, 2012 4:28 pm I decided to get satin vinyl wrap by albedor for our kitchen. A cabinet maker said the satin is very hard to clean and scratches easily. eg rings on your finger etc. He said the albedor texture is a lot easier to clean and sells about 80% texture. He said the texture is a lot finer now. I don't really like the texture. I want an easy to clean cabinet with a bit of shine. I think the albedor satin is similar to a matt. He said hardly anyone buys the gloss which I don't won't anyway. Do I still stick with the satin? Re: Is satin Albedor hard to clean and does it scratch easil 2May 02, 2012 8:15 pm I have a French Provincial style kitchen, albedor... i think mine is the texture ..i was never given a choice ... i have had my kitchen for 4 yrs and the quality is fantastic ..like new !!! never had a problem ... all i can say is, go with what you want and what appeals to you, or you will regret it later on ..Good luck !! Generally, the texture that you listed will have a 2mm size stone chip in it which is dragged with float to give the lines Any patch work needs to be 2mm less than face… 2 1818 5 10459 I've just built 3 stairs off a landing out the back and been told by the private certifier I need hand rails sorry tried to attach a pic but couldn't mine don't have sides… 5 5706 |
