I'm worried the grey/black will make the kitchen look too dark, so am leaning toward a light 'marble look' with warm white gloss cupboards. I found a new Tightform/Formica product called FX 180 - which imitates a marble finish. I'm digging the Carrera Marble Diamond Gloss finish. What do you think... http://www.laminex.com.au/uploads/brochures/180fx-brochure.pdf 29/02/12 Land Deposit 28/03/12 Home Deposit 12/06/12 Loan Approval 19/06/12 Land Settlement 04/07/12 Prestart 30/08/12 Building Permit http://number-04.blogspot.com.au Re: Kitchen Colours Combos 4Apr 24, 2012 8:12 pm Great choice, aren't they stunning? . I've been waiting for the range to be released here, watching it on the net since last year. There's heaps more colours available in US though The other great thing about the FX is that the bench trim they use makes it look so real, no horrible joins. There are more profiles for edges in US as well, one called ogee which really emphasises that solid marble or stone look. A darker colour would be fine if you have lots of natural light in the room. Otherwise, yes, it's best to stick to the lighter colours. And the gloss cabinets will reflect any available light. I'm wanting the slate sequoia with moleskin cabinets- my natural porcelain floor tile is a warm white with brown tones in it. I wanted parchment cabinets at first, but the moleskin is the perfect blend for all three surfaces. What did you think of the subway tile in the pics? We're building our first home and used this forum to help me sooo much when we did our selections, as we were cautious of over spending on what we hope will only be a 5 year house! I did a walk through of our cabinets yesterday and am really happy so thought I would join to give something back and help others possibly looking for what I did! I noticed you guys discussing the new Laminex 180fx benchtops with matching acrylic edging - well that's what I put in the kitchen and it looks amazing!! Soooo happy!! See below but for anyone interested in more pics please let me know and I will put some more up! lol! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hey. Head to a metal and decide on which profile you will use first. Profiles with larger corrugations can greatly change the appearance of the color in different… 0 3410 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34341 |
