Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 15, 2012 7:02 pm We are about to start building our home and have done our selections but I'm now questioning the choice of sink we have. I wanted a double undermount sink and it was suggested that we get an Oliveri Sonetto sink. I've googled till I can google no more and it seems that the sink I've been recommended is 2 individual sinks rather than 1 double sink undermounted. I'm hoping someone out there may be able to shed light on this before we get to the point where a sink I really don't want gets put in. Second time builder very frustrated. I rather like the idea of a larger sink. http://www.oliverisinks.com/au/manhattan.cfm A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. I might be confused on this, but I got the impression that the OP (kyli093) wanted an integrated double sink, not two seperate sinks put next to each other??? She's concerned that two single sinks were ordered instead of a double sink .... 2010, June : Land bought (1700sqm, battleaxe block). That's it so far! We're in the design phase .... Re: Advice on kitchen sink 7Apr 18, 2012 1:13 pm Pete_n_Pet has it right. I'm really looking for a double bowl (not two separate bowls) and just want confirmation that the oliveri sonetto is a double bowl and not two singles. ie, there should be a stainless steel join between the two bowls making it a double. If there is bench between the two bowls this would mean it is two separate bowls. My thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55859 First time build = excellent. This will let you know if it's double or two singles. 2010, June : Land bought (1700sqm, battleaxe block). That's it so far! We're in the design phase .... Re: Advice on kitchen sink 9Apr 19, 2012 1:19 am We have the Sonetto double bowl sink model 1063U http://oliverisinks.com/au/sonetto.cfm The website shows 2 single bowls (model 1030u) side by side. It's a very nice sink. We were initially going to go with the professional series but it was just a little to large and much more expensive, the Sonetto has a very similar look without the price tag. Oliveri Sonetto sink range has either single or double bowl sinks so it really depends on which model they've ordered for you. Here's the full range of Oliveri Sonetto sinks: http://www.oliverisinks.com/au/sonetto.cfm Re: Advice on kitchen sink 11Apr 20, 2012 1:31 pm Thanks chippy, you've put my mind at ease knowing there's a double Olivieri Sonetto bowl and not just the two single variety. I'm still waiting to hear back from my builder as to what product number they have down but i'm hoping it's the same as yours. My thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55859 First time build = excellent.
