Advice on kitchen sink

We are about to start building our home and have done our selections but I'm now questioning the choice of sink we have.

I wanted a double undermount sink and it was suggested that we get an Oliveri Sonetto sink. I've googled till I can google no more and it seems that the sink I've been recommended is 2 individual sinks rather than 1 double sink undermounted.

I'm hoping someone out there may be able to shed light on this before we get to the point where a sink I really don't want gets put in.

Second time builder very frustrated.

What sort of sink are you looking for? Twin same size, twin one smaller, drainer or no drainer.

Deponds on what style has been ordered.

Sonetto double undermount sink style 1063u, same size 33L

Sonetto double undermount sink style 1073u, 38L + 33L

Hope that puts your mind at ease.
Are you wanting 1 sink only but larger than normal. If so the Manhattan style has one. I rather like the idea of a larger sink.

I think Oliveri also has a bigger sink in their Sonetto range:

And you can match it with the smaller one:

Unlike the 1073U, these two are two separate bowls but they will line up perfectly and you can put them any way you like.

I might be confused on this, but I got the impression that the OP (kyli093) wanted an integrated double sink, not two seperate sinks put next to each other??? She's concerned that two single sinks were ordered instead of a double sink ....
Pete_n_Pet has it right. I'm really looking for a double bowl (not two separate bowls) and just want confirmation that the oliveri sonetto is a double bowl and not two singles. ie, there should be a stainless steel join between the two bowls making it a double. If there is bench between the two bowls this would mean it is two separate bowls.

can they tell you what sink style number has been ordered? This will let you know if it's double or two singles.
We have the Sonetto double bowl sink model 1063U http://oliverisinks.com/au/sonetto.cfm
The website shows 2 single bowls (model 1030u) side by side.

It's a very nice sink. We were initially going to go with the professional series but it was just a little to large and much more expensive, the Sonetto has a very similar look without the price tag.
Sorry about the confusion. Oliveri Sonetto sink range has either single or double bowl sinks so it really depends on which model they've ordered for you. Here's the full range of Oliveri Sonetto sinks:

Thanks chippy, you've put my mind at ease knowing there's a double Olivieri Sonetto bowl and not just the two single variety. I'm still waiting to hear back from my builder as to what product number they have down but i'm hoping it's the same as yours.
