Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Mar 23, 2012 9:04 am Currently I have a 600mm bulkhead over my overheads which are 450mm. IN the 150mm overhang I have downlights which look really good. In the new house plan the O/H's are also 450mm deep and they have planned the bulkhead to be 450 as well so they will both be flush. Is this going to look a bit weird? I cant say I have been paying attention in the display homes as to whether or not this is the norm now. Also I have a bench area that runs adjacent to my main bench and island bench - this is also recessed - should I have a bulkhead over this as well or will it not look right as the recess is on an inside wall. Any suggestions would be grea thanks Re: Kitchen bulkhead question 2Mar 23, 2012 5:26 pm Most bulkheads are actually flush with the cabinets. They have been done this way for years.
