Hi all
We are getting the wheels in motion for our long awaited kitchen family room and bathroom renovation.
Our builder's preferred kitchen cabinet maker has made the following suggestions;
Bench tops - Hafele infinity acrylic Broken Stone
Doors - Laminex Colourtec Parchment
Splashback - Laminex Metaline (not sure what colour yet)
I had always imagined that when we finally remodeled our kitchen we would use caesarstone benchtops and starfired glass splashbacks.
The cabinet maker has said that due to where we live (regional South Australia) the additional cost with having CS and glass installed is considerable and that the acrylic and metaline products have many advantages over CS and glass.
Does anyone have any thoughts regarding this? Is this just a case of the cabinet maker pushing products for his own benefit?
Does anyone have experience with these products and are you happy with the "finish".
I'm sure these products look great but it's just that in almost all magazines CS and glass are the ones featured.
Thanks for your help!
