However they all use different products and said they couldnt use the one I was requesting, and then some could etc etc. Thats why I am trying to gauge a comparison in price before I say no to the most expensive quote, if the product they quoted on was the best then clearly they are going to be more expensive. Re: Different products can someone please explain ?? 8Mar 22, 2012 11:45 am so how is that different from laminate/vinyl wrap. If its paint is it more prone to scratching? Thanks for your help Re: Different products can someone please explain ?? 9Mar 22, 2012 3:33 pm auds so how is that different from laminate/vinyl wrap. If its paint is it more prone to scratching? Thanks for your help From my limited understanding - Laminate is a covering which is glued on to the MDF cupboard door - Vinyl wrap is a plastic which is essentially heat shrunk around the MDF cupboard door - 2pac is a type of paint job, similar to the paint job on a car (sprayed on, gives a very smooth finish, can go lacquer hard) With all three methods of covering the MDF, the scratchability depends on the quality of materials used and/or workmanship in applying the finish. I'm sure one of the kitchen guru guys can provide more details. Watch out for them. 2010, June : Land bought (1700sqm, battleaxe block). That's it so far! We're in the design phase .... I'm a 2 pack spray painter and personally, I don't like working with veneers, It is very delicate to work on, some of the dents are easy to fix but some scratches on the veneer are nearly impossible to hide or fix. I wish there was a youtube video explaining this concept. 10 27221 yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5331 Hi, have purchased a house with 2 single garage doors.
