Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Mar 20, 2012 11:09 am Hi All, Currently looking at renovating our kitchen and we are in the process of choosing the kitchen cabinets and benchtops. We are certain on NOT going with stone and have come across laminated benchtop from these 3 main companies Duropal Laminex Diamond Gloss Polytec Laminate (Gloss) And every cabinet maker/flatpack person is telling me different conflicting stories and I'm totally confused now. Can anyone here tell me the difference or the pros and cons between these 3? Especially on hard wearing, ease of cleaning, any issues encountered, value for money or are they all the same but with different name. Thanks in Advance Ken Re: Benchtop:Duropal vs Laminex Diamond Gloss vs Polytec Lam 2Mar 20, 2012 1:56 pm Duropal is more expensive but not by alot. No difference in cleaning or wear factor.
