In a lot of these pics it seems that the polished wood floors are an ideal companion to all the white surfaces. Perhaps it's the "warmth" of wood which counterbalances the starkness of the white ?

We are having a white(ish!) kitchen - all white cupboards however with a coloured benchtop. More then likely will be having timber floors for a little contrast. I just can't wait for the clean feeling of having glossy white doors!!

Yes. My understanding is that the paint is originally glossy and a dulling material is added to obtain lower gloss levels. So a semi gloss would have simply less dulling material than the satin.

Hey guys my names mark from sydney ,
In the process like alot of you renovating your homes been going on for a few months now , I had chosen a few differnt colour schemes for my kitchen but endedn up doing this

2pac white gloss finish doors some with led light glass to break things up
some light grey ceasor stone bench tops with the std stainless steel appliances
will eventually have light polished timber floors and stainless steel kick panels im extremely happy with the out come here is a picture of it

Just posting a few pictures of our white kitchen, a "real life" kitchen as opposed to the glossy showroom kitchens in magazines

. Don't mind the muddy floors, seems like every tradie is bringing in their share of dirt

Wow - absolutely gorgeous!!! That makes me a little more excited about my own kitchen - I'm having white 2-pac cabinetry, ice Quantum Quartz benchtop, and the same handles, I think...seems like sooo long ago I picked it all (last August!) and I can't wait for it all to come together, so very nice to see your lovely kitchen in the mean time!!!

Is that a Blanco cooktop hiding under the plastic I think they are the only one with front mount knobs (no jokes please)....we just bought the 700 mm version

We're contrasting the white of the kitchen with a dark brown dining table with brown leather chairs.

Let's just hope the microwave stays that way when it's in use. Haven't tested it yet but hopefully it does not move around with the opening and closing of the door.

I'm happy with the light fitting too, original electrical plans had downlights for that area but we just thought it'll look too plain so we changed it

. Works out much cheaper as well, as we recieved a great price for them, only $65
