Re: SHOW YOUR WALK IN PANTRY! 43May 03, 2012 4:52 pm Yep. 19 drawers in the kitchen plus a pull out double bin and 9 drawers in the pantry and every one has stuff in it but I don't consider I have too much. When we did our KDR in 2004/5 we threw nearly everything out and bought all new stuff and I have been very wary when out shopping. My nieces words ring in my ears- "Do you need it Aunty Carmel or do you just want it?" (Yes I am a Carmel too!) In the laundry I also have 3 drawers-1 full height ( has basket for ironing ) and 2 half drawers ( dog food and cleaning gear ) Regards, Grumbles Re: SHOW YOUR WALK IN PANTRY! 44May 04, 2012 11:40 am Hey grumblebum54, Nice pantry and nice kitchen design.. With the open shelves in the pantry - what material was used - was it just a basic 16mm melamine or did you use a laminate such as 18mm lamiwood? Re: SHOW YOUR WALK IN PANTRY! 45May 04, 2012 1:18 pm lewster, Thank you for the compliment. As far as I know everything in the kitchen and pantry is done with Polytec melamine classis white sheen. Regards, Grumbles Re: SHOW YOUR WALK IN PANTRY! 47Jun 14, 2012 6:31 pm Hi everyone I thought I would update this thread to show what the pantry is looking like so far. The tiling was being done today so I'll update some finished photos later. The shelf inserts haven't been put in in the above shelves and appliance shelving. The laminex colour is Calcite and should look a heap better without the blue wrap! It's quite basic and there won't be any doors on the lower shelves as there is a cavity slider door on the pantry. Hopefully I find it to be functional. BLOG: thehousewebuilt2010.blogspot.com (And are still building!) Re: SHOW YOUR WALK IN PANTRY! 49Jun 14, 2012 7:50 pm Where's yours, Deemaree? TBH I think I will have to remove some of the shelves, they aren't very big, and I don't really deal with a lot of cans Re: SHOW YOUR WALK IN PANTRY! 58Oct 03, 2012 3:10 pm Rapt I found this thread, thanks Kiwi!
