Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 29, 2012 10:05 pm Not only can we not agree on the facade, but also the kitchen colours!! We of course want the best looking kitchen at the cheapest price!! Would also like it to be the most user friendly. I want a white kitchen e.g. gloss white cupboards and drawers (I'm sure it will be an upgrade), stainless steel handles. Our splashback will be a glass window. I'd like to put some small tiles around the window even thinking possibly with a splash of colour and use aqua?? We are getting a ceasarstone island bench (with waterfalls) and I think I'd like a white - perhaps Ocean Foam. Or my husband would be happy with a white kitchen but a dark caesarstone bench. Any suggestions about which is best for everyday use? We also need to agree on floor tile colour - I like grey and my husband likes light brown. Any photos or suggestions would be appreciated. We have our first meeting with a colour consultant this weekend but I'd like some ideas of my own first. Thanks so much! Re: Kitchen Colour Help, please! 4Mar 06, 2012 9:48 pm All white kitchens are timeless - you cant go wrong. Thats what we've picked. Grey tiles get my vote too. Our old house we had a black marble laminex a d it was a pain to keep clean but hubby loves the dark bench top. We want a stone top but couldnt agree on a colour which is why we went with laminex again but in a light colour and once we decide (he agrees with me) we will get a light colour stone bench. We are also debating on light or dark floor tiles (dark look good against the white kitchen but light tiles are safe).
