Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Variation between Caesarstone sample and actual benchtop 13Jun 13, 2012 4:41 pm Well guess what? After much to-ing and fro-ing Caesarstone have come to the party!! We are now the proud owners of an Ocean Foam CS bench top. It was the best match out of the whites for our very pale grey cupboards after they advised us that Glacier is no longer grey. And what's more, they covered all the associated costs including removing and re-installing the sink. So after a very lengthy negotiation period, I'm happy to say CS have redeemed themselves. The new benchtop where it meets the fridge panel - the same position as the original pic. Still not what I had in my head but much, much better Re: Variation between Caesarstone sample and actual benchtop 16Jun 13, 2012 11:09 pm This is certainly a cautionary tale! Who would've thought "yellow" tones to a product called Glacier??? I guess they should be asking people to select their "batch", just like some bricks which can turn out with a lot of variation. It looks a lot more than five percent difference to me. So glad that CS did the right thing for you. I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 15265 Looking for advice on whether this variation in tile colour is acceptable.
