The mounting plate only has two screw holes, one on each side. I'm pretty sure the left one is going to line up nicely with a wall stud, however the right one will only have plasterboard behind it. Should I just use a heavy duty plasterboard anchor on this side?? Or do I have to go to the trouble of securing a piece of timber between the studs? I really don't want to have to patch up plaster.... Not 100% sure of the weight of the hood; it's an Asko glass canopy rangehood.
