Hi Everyone ,
I am new to the forum but have spent many hours improving my knowledge in the last few weeks thanks to you all and your posts.
We are about to extend our house to add on a new 6m x 10m ish open plan kitchen, living and dining area as well as a new bathroom. We are not into the super modern looks but the kitchen I have in mind is slightly 'provincial' style, with white cupboard/drawers and probably a grey benchtop.
I went in to have a look at the laminex showroom and saw their 'french black' essastone made up as a benchtop, and thought it looked stunning but I could see every fingerprint on it.
Just wondering if any of you have CS Raven, Urban or Oyster or Essastone Carbon or French Black - or any other mid to dark grey benchtops, and how they go in real life? Would you recommend them or wish you'd gone with a lighter colour?
We may still have to go with laminate depending on how the budget is going but would love your thoughts on the grey reconstituted stone benchtops.
Thank you!
