Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Kitchen Colour advice 22Feb 02, 2012 4:12 pm Hi Rocketship, I absolutely love the mock-up of your kitchen, it's going to be stunning. I personally love the green, but also agree that it may be better to just use accessories to add the splashes of green. In that case, my next preferrence would be the mirror splashback, but I think I like the smokey mirror. We almost went for the mirror splashback but I was a little concerned about keeping it clean all the time. The other thing to consider with the mirror splashback is that anything you have hidden in the sink area behind your raised part of the island, you'll be able to see a reflection in the mirrored splashback. Another consideration is anything you have on your bench you'll see a reflection of, so if you do have any mess or clutter, it will look doubled, with double the clutter. That's what ended up putting us off the mirrored splashback. I do love them though and think they look amazingly sophistocated. I just can't control the other 3 people in my family from putting stuff all over the kitchen - I live with a messy bunch! Sorry for the garbled reply!
