We're going 40mm again. Would like to go for a 100mm edge but the cost will kill that idea. I had heard that you can get a 60mm edge, butted the same way as a 40mm, if you specify a 30mm stone sheet. Is this true? I agree about 40mm. I think 20mm just looks to thin in a large kitchen. It is ok in a small unit. Yes you can get 60mm by doubling up 30mm but it would cost more then 60mm made up from 20mm stone with a mitred 60mm edge. I don't see the point in doing that though, why would you pay extra for the 30mm slabs to then laminate it to 60mm. Sounds silly to me. Go with std 20mm and then mitre it to 60mm. 0 1549 Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time. At 17m long you need it… 1 3489 Thank you so much for the effort. We will use it to talk with builder. We also had idea of building duplex instead and seeking suggest ions. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=106744 11 10744 |
