I'm in the process of planning some renovations (including a completely new kitchen). A number of people recommended we contact Kitcheners in Sydney.
I checked out their website and was suitably impressed with their work. A few days later, I opened their home page with the intention of arranging a visit, and saw a message stating that they are in liquidation due to the ill health of the owner and current economic conditions.
Is the building / renovation market really that bad at the moment? This will make me significantly more careful about the payment of deposits, prepayments, etc.
Hopefully those who have already paid for work from this company will be adequately looked after, and hopefully the owner recovers from their illness.
