I have just had a small kitchen installed, and found to my dismay that the sink has been installed 21cm from the benchtop edge - meaning I have to bend right over to wash up etc. After only a few days it is already causing me back pain.
My sink is single round bowl (under mount), positioned in a corner bench - my previous kitchen had sink of identical size and shape also installed in the corner, but it was much closer to the edge.
Is there some sort of standard in the building industry about how far a sink should be from the edge of the bench, for health and safety reasons?
