Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Oct 03, 2011 2:42 pm Hi All, Building a new house, the kitchen glass splash-back has been installed and we have a PCI coming up very soon. The splash-back is meant to be 650mm high, but after having a look at the installed splash-back, it is at-least 4-5mm short at the bottom and has been filled with sealant/glue( 4-5 mm thick glue). The splash-back is 10mm short horizontally. Does anyone know what the standard and tolerances are with regards to the size of splash-backs. Re: Glass splash-back standards and tolerances 2Oct 04, 2011 12:51 pm 4-5mm is quite standard but 10mm short is to much. I wouldnt accept it. Re: Glass splash-back standards and tolerances 4Oct 04, 2011 5:48 pm Thank you guys for the vaulable information provided. I had it measured today the gap between the ceaserstone and the glass splashback is 6 to 7 mm.
