Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Sep 20, 2011 12:57 pm Which of the dark (brown or black) caesarstone colours would you recommend for a white polyurethane kitchen where the cabinets will be either in Whisper White or Antique White USA (i havent decided yet)? Also, im looking at the quantum quartz range too- has anybody used Amazon or Mocha colours? Re: Caesar stone and Quantum Quartz - dark colours 2Sep 20, 2011 8:03 pm Amazon is a greenish colour (i am not a fan... we have a job to do in it this week actually) but mocha is very nice. Caesar Stone - Cashmere, Latte and Raven are good. Quantum Quartz - Coco (which is the Cashmere equivalent) & Sahara (Latte equivalent) Re: Caesar stone and Quantum Quartz - dark colours 3Sep 20, 2011 9:30 pm Thanks for the feedback. It seems alot of people (looking at the pics on this forum) tend to go for the white/light benchtops? Is this a trend, or is there some other reason- do they clean better/worse than the darker coloured benchtops? Re: Caesar stone and Quantum Quartz - dark colours 4Sep 20, 2011 11:39 pm We've always liked the darker tops with light cupboards. In our new house (kitchen goes in Friday!!) we've gone with QQ Gobi Black with white cupboards/pot drawers. the walls are Antique White USA. Someone said somewhere that the Gobi Black looks a little greyish - I hope not, I only had a small sample to work with at the colours appointment. I personally like the dark colours too but i also know most people regret getting dark stone benchtops. Doesnt matter what the product is, they all show up scratches, marks and chips 10 times more than the lighter colours. I personally like the dark colours too but i also know most people regret getting dark stone benchtops. Doesnt matter what the product is, they all show up scratches, marks and chips 10 times more than the lighter colours. That's interesting. I thought it would be the other way around. I always thought black conceals everything! I'm being swayed towards white right now... which colours would you guys recommend for a white (not a stark white, but with abit of sparkle to it) in the CS and QQ ranges? But... what about stains- sauces, curries, red wine.... how well do the white/light benchtops clean compared to the brown/black ones? And... another question, is there much difference in the quality between CS and QQ? Re: Caesar stone and Quantum Quartz - dark colours 8Sep 21, 2011 8:21 pm Both companies offer the same warranties and etc. Just like two different brands competing against one another. Whites - I personally find Snow, Alpine White, Ultra White and Pure White boring... I Love organic white or white swirl.. that is what my kitchen is going to be Ice Snow (CS), Ice (QQ), Turino (QQ), Nougat (CS), New diamond White (QQ), Luna White (QQ), Osprey (CS), Starlight White (QQ), White Shimmer (CS) & Ocean Foam (CS) is a new colour. If you are anywhere near Epping Melbourne, contact me and I can organise you some samples of the colours. Re: Caesar stone and Quantum Quartz - dark colours 9Sep 24, 2011 5:02 pm I chose cs cashmere to go with natural white and find it hides alot of the everyday marks. You can look at the cs website in the gallery sections to help make up your mind. I was sure I was going for a white benchtop untill I saw the cashmere and am very happy with the outcome. I will try to post some pictures next week.... Thankyou for your advice. We do have Caesar coming out and hopefully resolve the issue for us. 4 18707 Hi, We have warm light throughout our house and it sort of makes are already dark stained floor more darker.
