Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Oct 05, 2011 10:44 pm Hi just wondering if anyone has a join in their Laminex they can photograph for me. In one our rentals we had a L shaped bench that was joined on an angle but I need to see what a straight join across bench looks like if possible. Thank you. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Laminex owners - joins please 2Oct 06, 2011 3:07 pm Kyton, we can just barely make out our join. I've used the flash in order to emphasise it for you . I took LOTS of pics & these are the clearest. Hope this helps. Re: Laminex owners - joins please 4Oct 06, 2011 5:09 pm Join quality has more to do with the colour of the laminate. Solid colours show the join far more than any other colour. Some flecked laminates can hide the join almost totally. Thank you so much peoples, especially for the photos Southies. Just trying to work out whether to make the poolhouse' island bench longer then a standard sheet or to stick with the 3600mm and no join. Good news is we renegotiated with the builder to do me a 7000mm by 1000mm pantry similar to my kitchen pantry so now I only have to do an island bench. Some things are worth waiting for.
