New to the forum and looking forward to contributing over the next year or so as we build our family home. We have a colour appointment coming up and the wife and I are not sure which way to go with our kitchen cabinetry colours. The colours used in the house will be mainly neutrals to beige and we are tossing up between parchment and polar white for our kitchen cabinetry (we also considered antique white) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Splash Back - glass strip window with pearly white finger tiles either side
Bench Top - Osprey caesarstone
Walls - Grand Piano quarter
Ceiling - Natural white
Back of rectangular island bench - Straight grain wenge laminate (dark brown)
Cupboard Doors, Cabinets, Draws and Overhead cupboards - Some type of white or beige??
Kickboard - laminex brushed stainless steel metallic finish
Hardware / Taps - chrome
Handles - modern satin chrome rectangular
Feature Lighting - decorative pendant over dining table to left of kitchen
Lighting - chrome downlights over kitchen area
Flooring - Blackbutt timber

Hi there silversurfer not Michelle here but thought I would say hello and share my thoughts. I have an Osprey top with Wenge cupboards in my bathroom, they look great together. If I were you I would go the Polar White cabinets. With your floors and walls I think a crisp white would be better than beige. Look forward to watching your build

thanks for the advice,
I suppose both would work and whilst parchment would be a bit warmer, we are leaning more towards polar white for a bit more contrast with the flooring providing the warmth

You have paid for a new kitchen, not a touched up one. Ask them to re do the damaged panels and correct their poor workmanship. This should not be too hard for them.
