I'm hoping to get some helpful feedback on Alaskan Gloss Cabinetry doors and trying to validate the product specifications I have been provided that they are the only doors on the market that come with a guarantee - no lifting, no pealing, no discolouration, scratch resistant. But the only product specification I have been given states.
19mm moisture resistant mdf board
abs acrylic gloss foil
matching melamine back
abs edging including matching dura edge
laminate foil is applied on a mdf core
coated with a thermopastic eco-friendly material
uv resistance
Kitchen Company's provides a 7 year guarantee "garantee covers cabinets from faults in material for a period 7 years. During which time any faulty components will be replaced at no cost to you.....All damage caused by misuse, accidents, exposure to heat or water reasonable wear and tear is not covered by this guarantee."
My issue I don't think the documentation I've been provided supports what the Kitchen Designer and Showroom staff have said "no lifting, no pealing, no discolouration, scratch resistant". Stupidly I know I have signed a contract for supply without seeing information in writing.
I am looking for a durable kitchen because I have young children so I have been told that a 2 Pack wouldn't be the ideal choose. Our existing kitchen is about 8-10yrs old and the laminate has peeled around the oven and on the panels of under the servery on the joins.
I just don't know if I'm being mislead with the Alaskan Gloss and have entered into a contract as a result. I can cancel but will probably have to pay a fee that is either a expected gross margin that would otherwise have been received from completion or a couple of 100 dollars short of a grand.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
