Hi all,
We have a U shaped kitchen that I want to do a bit of work to. It's probably easier to show you a photo of our kitchen rather than explain it, this is a photo of one of our neighbour's kitchens which is exactly the same as ours...

I want to change all the cupboards to be a gloss white and put a funky stainless steel handle on them. The other thing I really really want to do is change the bench tops. If anyone out there is thinking of getting a black stone bench top please talk to me and I will try and talk you out of it. Looks great when clean but it takes a ridiculous amount of effort to keep it looking amazing all the time!
Anyway I've been thinking about a light coloured benchtop and saw an advertisement for Granite Transformations. Am wondering if anyone out there has tried this? Is it a travesty to put a thin sheet of Ceasarstone over a granite/stone bench? Is this cost effective or should I just purchase a new stone benchtop and replace the one I currently have?
I'd like to put a waterfall bench down the side of the exposed U and thicken the benchtop so it actually looks like it's 4cm (approx) thick instead of the current 2cm. I'm thinking of an end result like this...
