Not cheap, but I am offering it up as an alternative to Corian (also not cheap) which would have been my other suggestion - RM is on the ball as always! <grin> Having said that, don't underate some of the the new laminates. Laminex's Diamond Gloss for example is pretty tough stuff. Light colours on a benchtop (if it is for a kitchen) are always a bit of a gamble, as there are so many dyes in everything that comes into contact with your work surfaces. My personal advice is normally to look for something with two or three shades in it - the old "Pub Carpet Theory". You can still have a light top, but with enough variety in it to obscure the inevitable minor blemishes. Respect, all.
