Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jul 07, 2011 7:22 pm Hi All,
Any enthusiastic designers like to take a shot at our kitchen design? I have 2m of floor to ceiling cupboard space in the laundry set aside for items such as crockpots, mixers etc, anything that don't get used on a weekly basis. I want to keep the bulk of the kitchen down. Mostly two people for meals so we would like to eat while looking out the front window. Larger gatherings will go to the Dining area. My wife likes baking and we are junior foodies. Five burner gas top and vented electric bottom. Need a 60cm spot for coffee machine and grinder. Full sized Convection/Microwave. Dishwasher Would like any input before we speak to the professionals. {Edit} Forgot to mention the room is bare, the image is just a starting point.{/Edit} Re: Looking for ideas 2Jul 08, 2011 5:37 pm Maybe have a bigger island bench then u can have Rome for 2 people there Building our own custom design with Redink Pre-start - 28/06/2011 Building license approval - sept 2011 Footings - 8/10/2011 my thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=48921 Re: Looking for ideas 3Jul 08, 2011 5:39 pm Or... Leona, that was out first thought as well, to extend the island as much as possible to make it uesable. TV will be on the wall just under the red arrow. It is drawn there but easily missed because it is hard to interperet. Looking into a hinged mount for the TV so that it can be aimed at the kitchen while cooking. We have the option of eating on the porch or verandah depending on the weather. We have our favourite 'love seat' with build-in table, similar to the Wicker Duo set, on the verandah and will have a 6-8 seater outdoor setting on the porch. Thanks again... Hi team, Im looking for a second hand sd4b monitor preferably white. 0 8923 Really tight at the top of the stairs- how to get furniture into those rooms? Study books - does anyone really use them these days? Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6886 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13447 |
