Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 06, 2011 5:59 am Hi all Am thinking of having an all white kitchen, but am limited to the builders standard range. I was thinking of having White Laminex cupboards with Laminex Limestone or Pure Mineralstone in diamond gloss for benchtops, and some type of white tile splashback. Was thinking of painting the house in a "greige" colour for the contrast. I love the shabby chic look and anything feminine and romatic, and would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks Re: All White Kitchen 3Jun 06, 2011 8:19 am I like white kitchens. They look good when they are clean, the color does not date, any accessorising works with them. But they do require more work to keep looking clean and if you don't add color with accessories they can look very sterile and a bit "operating theatre". Also make sure your whites work together, many don't so spend plenty of time and homework on finding whites that go together. My tip would be make sure you get the lighting right beacuse lighting can either make whites look harsh or soft and you want something that finds the middle line. And maybe looking at putting a "touch" of color in the break it up a bit.
