Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 30, 2011 11:10 pm Hi everyone! We are just starting up with looking into replacing our entire kitchen.... We are considering Ceasarstone as the benchtops. I noticed them at ikea last weekend, and was interested in seeing more colours in person at a showroom somewhere. Can anyone suggest somewhere in Brisbane where you can go and see a nice variety of colours in person? Also, is it possible to have the kitchen done by ourselves but separately arrange ceasarstone through a company? I know that Ikea will do it for you, but I wasn't sure of their rep with this etc? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. All of the finer details of this renovation are a little overwhelming, so I am really pleased to have found this forum!! Thanks, Louise Re: Ceasarstone in Brisbane 2May 31, 2011 6:58 am Quite a few of the kitchen companies who have showrooms have standing display racks of all the Caesarstone colours otherwise we all have folders that have a full range of samples that you can look at - but you won't find many showrooms that have more than one or two kitchens worth of Caesarstone laid out as slabs. You might have more luck at a stone mason's who does Caesarstone if you want to see large samples. It is usually not a problem at all to organise separate purchase and installation of the stone. We normally get a quote from the stonemason who will provide a quote to supply and install, including fabrication of the template, directly to the client. I think this is doing my head in lol Now I am noticing other stone benchtops you can get for a similar price......but no idea what the difference is between them all in terms of durability and how/if they can be used differently in the kitchen....Is there anywhere online that explains the difference between caesarstone and other stone type materials? Re: Ceasarstone in Brisbane 4Jul 01, 2011 3:44 pm HI Melodie My kitchen was done by a Brisbane kitchen company based in Meadowbrook. They organised the stone from us and the company they used was Coomera Stoneworx. They were FABULOUS, FANTASTIC, SUPERB - we were estatic with their fast service and follow up with an after sales issue (which turned out to be a non-issue but they followed up anyway). I went to Caesarstone's showroom at Yatala to double check my stone choice which was White Shimmer. And now that it is in, I'm thrilled with it. Cheerio and good luck! Re: Ceasarstone in Brisbane 5Jul 01, 2011 3:57 pm Thanks emeri! We ended up going with MWS Masonry, from a recommendation from the Yatala office. They are coming in next week to do the first site visit and measurements......can't wait for it to go in!
