So we inherited a wavy downstairs ceiling from the previous owners of our place. See picture.
We are renovating our kitchen which is pretty small so we've had to compromise on cupboard space (made up by installing a tall pantry which is just out of site in this picture).
For this reason, we've opted to have the 600mm canopy rangehood on the blank wall and not have cupboards on either side as it would create a very cluttered and closed-in feel.
In order to have somewhere for the rangehood to duct to, there will be a bulkhead along the top out to the external wall to the right of the picture.
Now that our kitchen is underway and I can see where things will go in relation to each other, I'm worried about how a bulkhead will look. One option is to get the gyprocker to extend the bulkhead to the top of the ceiling but I'm not sure how technically easy or hard a wavy bulkhead will be.
The splashback will go from benchtop to bulkhead behind the rangehood.
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated??
