Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 14, 2011 8:08 am Sorry for all the questions folks, but y'all been so helpful! When I'm finished I'll post in the "Show us your SB" thread, it will look awesome! When cutting a hole in the Zenolite for the double powerpoints do I just cut a smaller hole than the outside dimension so it can sit on *top* of the zenolite? If so how do I screw it back in? the Zenolite is 6mm thick - just get longer screws? ps - Realise the powerpoint refitting should be done by a Sparkie, just checking what I should do Thanks - Lindsay Re: Zenolite SB and Powerpoints 3May 14, 2011 9:06 am Powerpoints have standard size it is either grey or black plate where cables are connected that is your cut out area you should also have your screw holes pre drilled You can use a jigsaw with a fine blade and go slow to prevent binding and make the cut out. There is no science in removing a powerpoint there are three wires green, red and black connected by phillip head screws at the base of the plate but you must be sure to have switched off your power supply at the mains or board and treat the wires as live that is with caution. If you are not confident then call the sparkie to do the whole lot for you.
