He's the cook, so I don't really care, but neither uf us know what colour to put with it. I'm not a fan of white (at all!) and he's patial to wood, but not too sure. Any thought? Whay would you have? Re: Serpentine benchtop - what colour cupboards? 2May 02, 2011 4:09 pm Is it a granite / marble / laminex? Bit hard to tell from the photo. You would be best to have a large sample - around 20cm x 20cm that you could then put next to samples for your cupboards etc. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Serpentine benchtop - what colour cupboards? 3May 02, 2011 4:15 pm Good article about serpentine here: http://www.asaa.com.au/e-digest/4/ http://www.completehome.com.au/Articles ... id=2508569 "Serpentine, another natural stone, often referred to as “green marble” (although it is not a true marble), is also used by marble lovers as it is a marble look-alike but not as sensitive to citric acid and other kitchen spills." What are your floors going to be / what wall colours? Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Serpentine benchtop - what colour cupboards? 4May 02, 2011 10:45 pm walls - probably Papyrus or simular and a wood floating flooring (to be decided). We're still kicking around ideas, so nothing concrete yet. Today is under construction. Thank you for understanding. Hi, Can anyone give me approx. price for overhead cupboards. TIA 0 16620 Hi Courtney The mitred edges are glued up with epoxy so those little holes and gaps are areas that weren't filled correctly. Silicone is the wrong product to fill them… 2 12929 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7171 |
