Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 23, 2011 9:06 pm Hi guys, Please help me with my kitchen colours - the most troubling issue is my splashback. My kitchen is a gallery kitchen with a 40mm waterfall island bench and 2 tone cupboards. Floor cupboards are light, overhead cupboards are dark - microwave tower that stands to right of stove is all dark. Benchtop: Quantum quartz ICE Floor c/boards: Laminex crystalgloss PUMICE O/head c/boards and m/wave tower: Laminex crystalgloass FOSSIL or ESPRESSOn (fossil is the lighter colour of the two) Splashback: Laminex metaline RUBICON PERLE (red) or AUTUMN PERLE (silver) Glass - haven't decided - maybe a red or the greenish colour I have uploaded. I am open to suggestions please. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I used Studio M to try and get an idea of my colour scheme. See below and tell me what you think. This would be a glass splashback. Colour combination help please 2Apr 23, 2011 9:18 pm What colour is the furniture and accents in the rest of the room? Ie my benchtop is blue and we have blue and taupe lounges - therefore my splash has to complement them. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Colour combination help please 3Apr 23, 2011 11:29 pm We don't know! We're chucking the old blue-ish couch and getting a new one...probably in neutral tones - maybe browns. The space opposite the kitchen will have our buffet, dining table and possibly kids play area while the children are young....the room that is currently labelled as MEALS will have our computer and a nice bookcase etc so it doesn't dag up the room. When the kids get older we plan on kicking the computer into a spare room and rearranging the house as the labels on the floorplan say. We are having floorboards in the foyer, then there is a step and we will continue through the rest of the house with tiles (excpet for in the lounge room and b/rooms). We don't know what colour yet. I can't remember what our buffet and table are...some Australian hardwood. I'd have to check with hubby. The seats of the chairs have a hint of moss grey/green in them... I think. They are in storage at the moment so I can't even check. Will have to find a photo. Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3267 2 10947 Thankyou so much ๐ I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK ๐ 2 7158 |
