Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 22, 2011 10:33 am Hi, I have a new kitchen ( ) with "Snow" Caesarstone bench tops and we've noticed a few stains appearing. One was a brown ring from a pot left on there while hot, perhaps it had something on the bottom, but we've not managed to completely clean it off with standard spray-n-wipes. What do you guys use of the stronger variety to clean them? Silestone seem to not allow you to use much at all, and Caesarstone mention their own brand of creme cleansers but I'd rather not shell out for that sort of exxy stuff :/ Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 2Apr 22, 2011 10:46 am This is what we use: http://www.caesarstone.com.au/Shop-Onli ... g_Kit.aspx you can just buy this stuff at the supermarket instead of from this website though Current status: Busy making the house our home Built PD Francis 29 on our 576m2 block at Reflections in Tarneit Reflections Estate Thread Our Build Thread Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 3Apr 22, 2011 10:47 am wizard This is what we use: http://www.caesarstone.com.au/Shop-Onli ... g_Kit.aspx you can just buy this stuff at the supermarket instead of from this website though Thanks Wizard. Do you have any trouble with stains? Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 4Apr 22, 2011 10:49 am What about the cleaning pack supplied by Caesarstone when you registered your benchtop? Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 5Apr 22, 2011 10:50 am When we first moved into our house we put a box on the bench that was a little wet and it left ink on the stone, we tried everything to get it off and nothing worked, then I did some research and found some information about the best way of cleaning stains off the stone and all recommended cream cleanser. It works really well Current status: Busy making the house our home Built PD Francis 29 on our 576m2 block at Reflections in Tarneit Reflections Estate Thread Our Build Thread Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 6Apr 22, 2011 10:58 am HappyCamper_au What about the cleaning pack supplied by Caesarstone when you registered your benchtop? Oh didn't know about that! Our kitchen installer didn't give us any doco I wonder if it's too late - kitchen went in late Jan Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 8Apr 22, 2011 11:40 am taththi, mine didn't either, but I registered it online and received the cleaning pack via snail mail a couple of weeks later. Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 10Apr 22, 2011 11:07 pm I just had a caeserstone bench top installed and the installation guys mentioned creme cleansers ( like jif) work well but just be careful in a Relation to scrubbing too hard as it can dull the surface. They also said a weak metho and water mix in a spray bottle was good for general wiping over as well. Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 11Apr 23, 2011 12:06 am Soap - morning fresh, worked fine on the stains I've had. Not had to use anything stronger so far. I did not know that we had to register our Caesar stone. Thanks a lot guys. Re: What to clean Caesar stone with? 13Apr 23, 2011 10:26 am Seems I was fortunate in having a CS installer who told me to register for warranty purposes although he didn't tell me about the cleaning pack I would receive....one other thing he did tell me was the only way to tell if you are receiving 'genuine' CS is to check the serial and batch numbers on the undersurface of the stone....chinese (and other) cheap imports don't have this stamp so if you've paid for CS then it might pay to take a look. Record the numbers as you'll need them to register your warranty...tip...if they've used more than one piece of CS there will be several numbers!! (I can just imagine everyone running to kitchens, down on knees, head in cupboard having a look....LOL!!) Apparently QQ doesn't have this stamp, afaik, it's only CS!! But good to know you've got genuine CS if that's what you paid for!! I would assume if your didn't register your benches and needed to make a claim they would require invoices etc to prove when it was installed etc etc and it might take a little longer. They also sent a sticker to put inside the cupboard which has the warranty registration number along with cleaning info....use creme cleanser with xxx stains, metho with xxx etc etc. Jif (and other creme cleansers) are not to be used on 'all' stains so take care. Thankyou for your advice. We do have Caesar coming out and hopefully resolve the issue for us. 4 18757 I have stone pavement (?) in my backyard around the pool.
