When you pulled it out you couldn't really get stuff from both sides you had to reach or walk around it (hope that makes sense). If i was dealing with a small slim pantry again i would probably get a door that could open and slide into the cupboard then have individual metal draws. Basically when you just wanted to grab the cereal out you would open the door like a normal pantry but if you where going to be cooking and hunting down the obscure spice at the back of the draw you would have the door open and tucked away.
