Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 14, 2011 9:53 am Hi everyone! I need help with floor tile colours please! We are having a fairly traditional kitchen in antique white with emerald pearl countertops. We’ve finally decided to go with floor tiles as opposed to wood, but are having trouble choosing a colour. The floor tiles will go throughout the kitchen, dining area, living area, a long hallway, and a toilet, so they need to be fairly neutral (which is what we like anyways), but we don’t want to go with white as with think it will to too clinical in such a large area. Here is a link to a similarly coloured kitchen: http://www.projectstone.com.au/pages/100_0829.htm. We are also having the granite backsplashes but only on one wall. Any ideas on colour selection are appricated! Re: help with floor tile colours 2Apr 14, 2011 1:39 pm Given your kitchen will be black and white, I'd go with a mid grey tile. We have chosen a tigressa beige tile with a marble type pattern on it so it hides the dirt and dust a bit better. Not sure if this helps but we were after something that didnt have a yellow tinge too or too out there so to speak. Not too white yet stylish. cheers Bindi Contract signed - March 7,2011 Site Cut - May 6, 2011 Pre slab plumbing - 19th May, 2011 Slab - 10th June, 2011 Our thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=45044 Possibly both depending on the sizing.
