Only thing is now I am scared I will make it even worse and when I talk to the stone people on monday they'll say I have buggered it even more! Do u think there is any chance of that? Re: help- mineral turps has left marks on my new caesarston 4Apr 02, 2011 10:01 pm Talk to the stone people first, it won't make any difference when you use the kitty litter. This will absorb the oil in the turps. It's what I would do, but get their advice first. The turps may evaporate anyway. Caesarstone is ground up stone held together by plastic, can't see how it would be etched by turps which comes in a plastic bottle. Or is this real Caesarstone? The stone actually feels different where it is and is less glossy. Re: help- mineral turps has left marks on my new caesarston 9Apr 11, 2011 9:31 am Sorry to hear about your accident on the caesarstone. I to have just had Urban fitted 7 days ago on my kitchen bench. I was told by the stonemason not to use a few cleaning agents on it and mineral-turps was one of them. Have you tried the actual cream cleanser that is recommended by caesarstone. I had some marks on there that looked like water marks and could not get of with windex or soapy water and contacted the stonemason and he brought over this cleanser and it worked a treat. you need a fridgie to answer but I would think you vac the whole system then add gas if you have a leak, unless it is new install with the gas already loaded, in that case… 1 3640 Old Home Restoration / Renovation Hi, just discovered all these junks left behind under the floor.
