Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 01, 2011 12:57 pm it has been suggested to me that i make my overhead cupboards a different colour (Laminex parchment) from my underbench cupboards and drawers (formica mulga). i think the colour scheme works but now i am not sure if the overall look will be good. the benchtop is caesar stone osprey. for the splashback i have selected a laminex product called "metaline" - which looks a lot like glass - in a colour similar to the underbench cupboard colour. if i decide to keep all cupboards the same colour it will be easy to select an alternate splashback colour. also just have to decide whether to make all the cupboards parchment or mulga?? need advice please Re: kitchen cupboard colours 2Apr 01, 2011 5:19 pm If you're not sure about it I'd be conservative and go with only one colour for both. You can always introduce another colour in your kitchen with any walls you paint, and paint is easier and cheaper to change if you get sick of it. But hey, that was just my sensible nerd thinking when I considered dual tone cabinetry.
