The inside is one piece glass but the oven is pyrolytic self-cleaning anyway, you shouldn't need to worry about too much how easy it is to clean: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Uploaded with ImageShack.us Re: Bosch wall oven door picture? 3Mar 30, 2011 8:54 am I'm getting one too. The 73B has more layers of glass in the door than the 63B, and apparently they're easily removed for cleaning. If you haven't seen the oven, the only thing that may surprise you is that the shelves have a raised bar at the front which means you can't slide dishes out, and if you want to slide the shelf out you have to lift it a little on the way out. If you want to easily slide the shelves in and out, you could buy a set of telescopic rails, as shown in the picture posted. I was told one set does all three shelves and costs around $300 but I'd imagine that's the retail price so you could probably get cheaper. Apparently some people get them thrown in for free... The telescopic rails looked great to me, but I've read another thread on here where someone wasn't so keen on them: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19603 Re: Bosch wall oven door picture? 4Mar 30, 2011 10:52 am Pippi The telescopic rails looked great to me, but I've read another thread on here where someone wasn't so keen on them: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19603 That may have been me and I was going by what the salesman said. Since then, I've actually put the telescopic arm racks into my oven and now I love them. They're not fiddly at all, I don't find anyway. I only have 2 on mine and wish I had the racks with more. Re: Bosch wall oven door picture? 6Mar 30, 2011 1:51 pm The internals of the current Bosch ovens are really easy to clean. Made from a single sheet of steel that is welded so there are no gaps for food to get stuck in and all of the racks are easy to get out too, very smooth surface. You can just unscrew the rack mounts at the side with your fingers (its a little thumb screw) and then the sides are a smooth surface too. As far as cleaning and pyrolitic ovens, they still have to be wiped out and you shouldn't use the pyrolitic function as the only method of cleaning, it doesn't take much give it a wipe out every now and then. I am installing a new Bosch SMU4HTS01A built under dushwasher. I have 2 questions. What is the function of the metal strip about 500mm long x 60mm wide the tell you to… 0 2696 Hi Chippy, no there isn't, gave it a really good look through and literally opened everything and checked all edges as well. Hence the question, just hoping someone would… 2 2071 My daughter and son in law are about to start building, they are having a 600mm induction cook top and 900mm oven.
