Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: what the latest in handles? 2Dec 28, 2007 10:33 am Im actually thinking of having no handles at least on upper cupboards
there was a time that was so out (many years ago) but I think its in again fashion and trends....its a worry is the trend going away from the really long handles to small ones now? Re: what the latest in handles? 3Dec 28, 2007 11:29 am Whatever is trendy now, will not be trendy a couple of years down the track. But if you really want to follow trends, magazines such as Home Beautiful etc. are always good.
Look at your whole house and the kitchen when deciding on handles - a rustic country-style kitchen will probably not look good with sleek aluminium handles. Re: what the latest in handles? 4Dec 28, 2007 1:43 pm No one rule when building YOUR home!!!!
Don’t worry about the trends!!! Build it and decorate it how you like, not what the trends says! Follow these rules and you’ll get the home you are looking for and best suits you. Tried out a couple at display homes and it took a number of pushes just to open and close these cupboards....
I can see my kids standing and pushing them open and closed all day.... seeing if they close if you slam them hard etc.... Instead we went for some minimalistic L shape pull handles - can't seem to find a pic to show though....
