Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Mar 22, 2011 11:12 am Hi, I need to make a decision Im what doors Im having (its driving me crazy) so I cant afford gloss and i think it mite look a bit too modern in my house anyways-Im tossing up between 2pac satin in maybe a soft or rounded bevelled edge or 2pac in a textured finish (is that more matt than satin?) with a colonial square textured pattern- I havent seen many people using 2pac in a patterned door but thought it would b a safer option than using vinyl wrap....any suggestions? Thanks! 2pac in satin or textured finish? 2Mar 22, 2011 1:26 pm Does textured mean that it has ridges / raised and lowered parts? If so I could think of nothing worse in a kitchen! It would be a pain to keep clean - dirt and grime would catch in it. Just my opinion but I would much prefer a plain surface to reduce cleaning (which is one of the reasons I went for high gloss 2pak). Some things are worth waiting for. Re: 2pac in satin or textured finish? 3Mar 22, 2011 2:12 pm Textured is the actual paint eg textured, satin or gloss and colonial square is the pattern inside the door 4 14633 Building Standards; Getting It Right! But they didn't even leave it at one level it goes up and down along the whole front of the house 4 10987 Horizontal costs extra, and depending on door sizes (and colour) vertical may not be possible. 1 575 |
