Hi
We are fitting out the butlers pantry (BP) once we have handover.
The builder has "capped off" the water (what ever that means) and there is a junction box for later wiring?
I am confused with the purpose of a junction box. I thought it was so we could get the BP electrically wired after we move in. However on speaking to an electrician he said it may be cheaper and easier to get the builders to do it.
We have now decided to get the builder to install the powerpoints in the BP before we move in
The oven, sink, underbench and overhead cabinets will be fitted after we move in.
So my questions are
1) If the standard bench height is 900mm (please correct me if this is wrong) should I get the powerpoints at around 1 metre or hirer?
2) Should I get the powerpoint for the underbench oven around 50cm?
3) do we still need a junction box if powerpoints are going to be put in during house build?
4) Is there anything else I should consider during the house build
Thanks
K
