I am wondering what the legalities is of cancelling a paid order. I bought a stove and rangehood yesterday, thinking I was getting a good price. The order has been paid in full, to be delivered when they call to organise a date.
in the meantime I have rung clive peters and found I could have gotten them for $440 less, which is a huge difference when you have a really tight budget. That's half my dream sink cost!
So, I am going to call the supplier tomorrow and ask them to credit the difference. If they don't I'll ask for a cancellation of the order (which I would rather not have to do).
What is the actual legal requirements of kitchen appliance stores? I am guessing there is a buyers remorse clause for a period of time, even if paid in full, as long as I haven't accepted delivery yet?
