Re: Has anyone used Laminex Surround Coated Doors? 4May 28, 2011 9:39 pm Yes we have just used them. We can't really comment on the product yet as LAMINEX IS NOW OVER 6 MONTHS LATE Iin delivering the final parts of the kitchen. It took Laminex 3 months to supply the product and then they stuffed up mulitple parts of the original order and we have now been waiting more than a further 3 months to get the remaining / correctly coated panels. We have been without a kitchen for over 6 months now! We were trying to do our kitchen as environmentally sustainably as possible but Laminex clearly doesn't care at all about its customers. We will never again use a Laminex product and would not recommend anyone else do either. By the way, as we understand it, Laminex has recently discountinued the Surround Coat product. Re: Has anyone used Laminex Surround Coated Doors? 5May 29, 2011 9:05 am I havent used the product as yet but here is something to think about. Polyurethane if chipped, scratched or even damaged really badly can be fixed and resprayed. If you want to change colours in a few years time with polyurethane it is very easy to do!. This for me is a huge advantage. If you go to a laminex showroom they should be able to show you a sample of it.
