Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 22, 2011 3:03 pm So many questions!! Most kitchen sinks these days have a single draining board. The person I spoke to told me this was because people want to maximise the look of their benchtops. I get that but then doesn't water or liquids from the dishes run off the benchtop onto the floor as it has no lip, unlike a draining board? Thanks [again!] Re: Sinks/draining board-double draining or single 2Feb 22, 2011 3:07 pm I personally have a three bowl sink with no drainers. Wash in one, rinse in middle one then dry in the third bowl. But you can also do the following:- 1. Buy a separate dish drainer and place it on the benchtop on a cloth to dry up water. 3. Put clean and wet dishes straight onto a teatowel on the benchtop. Some things are worth waiting for.
