Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 01, 2011 10:09 am Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has used Perla Di Sabbia granite in their kitchen? And if you had any photos? I was thinking of having it in our kitchen with classic white cupboards but have only ever seen it used once and cant really remember what it looked like and if it went with white cupboards. Photos would be great thanks! Mel. Re: Perla Di Sabbia granite bench 5Feb 03, 2011 8:27 am Thats definately not Granite. It is man made stone. Believe it or not, Granite Transformations only use Granite if you specify you want Granite - and it is much more costly than the man made through them. Rediculous I think, considering the name they use but is the case. I had them come to my house for pricing on granite tranform. The guy virtually told me (not in so many words) that they dont want to do granite. All I can think of is they have some really good deal with the manufacturer of the man made stone they use. Because lower grade (colour not because of quality) granite is the same cost of the man made stones. I then went with an actual granite supplier. Love my benches and the depth of colour they give me. Re: Perla Di Sabbia granite bench 6Sep 06, 2011 6:29 pm That's not correct. Granite Transformations manufactures their own slabs. It is a man made engineered stone made form granite (hence the name), quartz and other materials. They do not sell natural granite slabs at all. Never have done. 0 9797 Hi - thanks for your reply.
