Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jan 26, 2011 6:26 pm Hi all First time here so be gentle please We are looking at replacing our Kitchen. We want to pull it all out and start again. We have had one company quote and it came to over $22K but have since read quite a bit of negative feedback about them. Can anybody recommend me someone/company located in the Brisbane Centenary suburbs. Or who to stay away from. Thanks in advance Dave Re: Looking for a Kitchen company in Brisbane. 3May 28, 2011 6:36 am Hi there, so your after a new kitchen, that's great! its one of the best things you will ever do, not only for increasing the value of your home but once its done you will wonder how you ever did without it! I recently did it myself and saved a lot of money. Ikea kitchens have a great range of finishes to there 'flat pack' range. Once installed correctly can match even the best kitchen makers for a fraction of the cost.Depending on how much you pull out(flooring)?etc it could be worth working with a professional to install one of these style kitchens. I hope this helps Chris Fixnfit Re: Looking for a Kitchen company in Brisbane. 4May 30, 2011 3:50 pm Hi steely. One thing to remember about kitchen companies is that, in a lot of instances, they only do just that - kitchens. If you need carpentry or tiling done for instance it may be better to employ a builder to do the job because in most cases kitchen companies won't do the extras. Some might but many don't. A builder can at times offer the little extras that make a kitchen better. Check PM for more. Re: Looking for a Kitchen company in Brisbane. 5Jul 01, 2011 3:48 pm Hi Dave I used Rod's Kitchens at Meadowbrook to do my kitchen recently. They were recommended by two people I knew. We did a total pull out, remove wall and brand new everything install. We were 99% happy with the job they did. There were some niggling little issues that took longer than we thought reasonable to get fixed but considering ours was a huge job, that was probably to be expected. We were happy with the timeliness, the fact they organised the builder, plumber, sparky, rangehood tradesmen for us (we could have used our own if we wished) and we are thrilled with the finished product. PM me if you want any more info. Cheerio! and Good luck! Hello Josh, This is Irving from PRIMA, we are a manufacturer of the staircase, railings, kitchen cabinets, windows, doors from China.
