When you look at all the expensive homes, are they 2pac or vinyl? I'm going handleless on the wall cupboards, and I notice the really glossy kitchens seem to look the best in the magazines. Thanks Re: What is more glossy? 2pac polyurethane or vinyl wrap 2Jan 25, 2011 11:57 am if your not having handles it maybe best to go two pack. Vinyl is a bit limited with curves and a bit hard to organize when the the person who does the Vinyle supplies the the door. With two pack the cabinet maker supplies the doors. My opinion is that twopack is a bit more glossy not by much. It wouldnt be the main reason for getting two pack. In fact In my kitchen I put vinyl under the island bench before it is more durable. But my doors are two pack. People including myself cant tell the difference under normal circumstances. What do you mean by this. it just means that you will have trouble doing curves that are sharper than 90 degrees or so. With two pack there is no limiation. This is an important consideration if you are going with no handles. This off course depends on what you mean by no handles. I don't think I'll have to worry about curves if I go vinyl wrap. I'm doing standard flat profile doors with a slight (2mm?) pencil edge. So hopefully that should come up okay without any handles.
