I've been told that one of the reasons people go with Multiple ones is because if one gets scratched only that panel needs to be repainted (2 pack). Whereas if you get a scratch in your large panel, the whole piece would need to be repainted. Is this true? Or is looks the main reason why some people choose the multiple panels? If you had shaker style doors, then it might also look good to have the same panels on the back and end of the island, regardless of secret storage... Island showing 3 panels. One panel is hard to differentiate from the next, but the other seems to have the grey lines in the grain on both panel ends so it stands out like you know what. I'm a little disappointed but will see how they look when it is all cleaned. My secret door, but it won't look too much of a secret cause it has a kick board showing. Not to mention once furniture is in the house and curtains etc. It will give a completely different shadow effect on the kitchen.
