Re: Laminex aluminium framed doors 2Dec 25, 2007 3:11 pm Missed this post, I have all the info on the new doors…..I am most impressed with the look.
Also having the aluminium around the doors, gives them a little more protection from bumping and knocking them with utensils and dinnerware. Did you decide to go with them? With kids around do you think this product will cause an issue with injury etc.
I personally like this product and want to put it in for our new house we are building in canberra. Just a bit worried that we would not be able to child proof / put locks on these. Please advice. Cheers Re: Laminex aluminium framed doors 5Jan 08, 2008 7:30 pm oh what are they?
has anyone a picture? I just found this when searching Free upgrade to Hettich Soft-Close door hinges when you purchase Laminex Fineline aluminium framed doors between the 8th October 2007 and the 31st March 2008. Upgrade offer applies to NSW and ACT residents only. Re: Laminex aluminium framed doors 6Jan 08, 2008 7:35 pm GavinRight….the door structure is the same; just that it has the metal around the frame only! That’s the bit that runs top, side and bottom of the door.
You should still be able to put locks on the doors, as they are attached to the door….not the frame. I can tell you now….if Laminex thought there would be an issue with injury, they would not put them on the market! Will try and find a photo for you so I can explain better! Very robust for commercial. Might even put them in when I revamp my own kitchen. Ok PDF files…not working for you, getting the brochure is probably better anyway! Hope this works.
I'm definitely going for these in my new house, I'm just not sure whether lighter colours would look as good as the dark colours. Any thoughts? I think lighter tones will look good also, but will not have quite the impact as the darker ones. Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Laminex aluminium framed doors 16Jan 13, 2008 6:44 pm Michelle,
We have decided to go with the aluminium framed doors in matt peruvian clay...we're using the same colour for overhead and lower cupboards. Benchtop will be quartz ice and flooring is floating timber in jarrah. Do you think it will look good? Thks. Re: Laminex aluminium framed doors 17Jan 13, 2008 6:51 pm Peruvian Clay is a nice colour, it will complement your Jarrah nicely!
Yes I think it will lovely.
