Okay I know this has been done to death and I have been doing a lot of reading of previous posts but why, when vinyl wrap is given such a bad write up do people still use it? I actually really like the look of it and several of my friends have it in their kitchens and haven't had problems at all. One's husband is a builder and they are using it again in the new place they are building. I have had a larger company come and quote on doing my kitchen as well as the smaller cabinet maker - the former won't touch the product whereas the later will. Does everyone have a negative experience from it and if the product is that prone to bubbling why do companies/individuals still use?

Hi,I have had vinyl wrap in my current kitchen for the last 6 years. It still cleans up easily and looks as good as new.
My designer doesn't want me to use it in the new build.
She doesn't like it at all.

Some of the cheaper vinyls arent as durable, which give it an overall bad reputation as some of the larger door companies actually use the thinner vinyl on their products.

I agree you had to leave the house for a while and just come and open everything. Of course, you have to repair the issue.
